Eyewire II—A connectomic resource for resolving cell types and circuits of the mouse retina
Published in bioRxiv, 2026
The retina is a highly structured neuronal tissue comprising roughly 130 neuron types. This work uses large-scale volumetric electron microscopy data, reconstructed through the citizen-science platform Eyewire II, to map cellular connections and resolve neuron classifications, providing a connectomic resource for the mouse retina.
